Dear all,

I have just received a paper cutting from Sakal daily newspaper from Pune dated 14 February 2005. A group of senior citizens of Pune decided to visit the Andaman Islands. They were surprised that the Cellular jail where Veer Savarkar was kept and all the landmarks were untouched by Tsunami.
Please tell your friends the good news.

A friend of mine also returned from Madras in February. He was visiting his parents when Tsunami struck. Luckily water stopped spreading just 200 meters from their house. My friend was surprised at the quick response of EVEN the Government machinery. He just could not believe what he was witnessing. Life returned to normal very quickly indeed. No wonder the BBC did not report this!!!.

Dhanyavad.
